Kotor has a fortified city that is on the UNESCO list. This is very well preserved. The city lies in the secluded bay of Kotor. Since cruise ships can enter the harbor, there are thousands of visitors every day and this makes prices for food and guesthouses rise up dramatically in summer.

We think the best view of the city is from the hills above the city so you can see the whole bay. If you have your own car please drive up to not miss this view.

Biggest draw are the ancient fortification walls that you can climb. When we were there it was raining and since the cobble stones get really slippery we decided to not climb up.
